Hi. I'd like to let you know that I'm
available and willing to do
programs, fundraisers and instructional events for your club, organization
or other group.
I love people and enjoy teaching. I'm
an entertainer. As a pianist I've concertized many times since the 1970's.
I've been teaching music since 1973 and fly fishing and fly tying for over
twenty years, and frequently present programs for Trout Unlimited and other
local organizations.
In 1989 I completed a Doctorate in
Musical Arts with a specialty in Music Composition at the University of
Colorado, Boulder. Since 1991 I have operated St. Vrain Angler Stores in
Colorado.
Since 1979 I've been fly fishing all
over Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West. In addition I've fished in
Alaska, Canada and Scotland, and extensively in saltwater in Belize,
Florida, Mexico, the Bahamas and Christmas Island During the past 25 years
I've probably tied over 500,000 flies of various styles and types, including
full dress Atlantic salmon patterns and various saltwater flies.
Here's what's available:

Entertaining programs on fly
fishing, raising girls, life as a small businessman and more. Most
programs last for about 90 minutes and will include question and answer
sessions. Shorter programs are also available. |

Instruction events include any of
the following: Fly Tying - all types available; Fishing Fishing
Techniques, including Fishing Dry Flies, Fishing Attractor Patterns,
Presentation; Fish! Bugs! Flies!; Building A Fly Selection and Fly Box
Organization; Fishing Rocky Mountain National Park; Fishing The Rockies;
Fishing The Flats; Fly Casting Instruction. |

Instructional Sessions may be
combined with stories such as My First Atlantic Salmon; My Fly Fishing
Potpourri and so on. |

Small group session are available
from St. Vrain Angler, and include Fly Fishing, Fly Casting, Fly Tying
instructional weekends and getaways. We'll arrange for lodging, food,
gear and everything you and your friends will need for from two days to
one week of fly fishing instruction and fun! |

Fund Raising opportunities for
shops, clubs and organizations are also available. |
