Knowing about us will be of
particular importance if you're thinking of purchasing items or booking a guided trip. This will be magnified if you're
thinking of doing it on the net.
Well, rest at ease.
We're friendly, and we want what's right for you and your fly fishing
experience.
We started a shop in Longmont,
Colorado in 1991, and then opened the Estes Angler in Estes Park, Colorado
in the spring of
1993. In November of 2005 I sold the Estes Angler to
Grant Rollo, who guided and worked the shop for several years. In January of
2006 I closed the St. Vrain Angler in Longmont. So, there is no longer a
store front location for the shops.
We had a good run, all
of us together. There just wasn't enough business support to keep the doors
open. It's true.
I'm still writing and offering a variety of options for fly
fishing fun. I see fly fishing as "the great escape."
Escape from what? From the tyranny of the immediate; from the grind of everyday
stuff.
I want to be your partner in fly fishing.
