Environment Issues, Stories, News

While I'm generally mixed about aspects of business I do like getting people involved in fly fishing. It is difficult to imagine that folks who actually go fishing would not become interested in the environs where their fish are found. Adding to this voice is good.

We fish in part because it is fun, and in part because being outdoors and trying to connect with wildness - that's when we hook a fish, you see - is also a good thing.

Please do all you will to know and appreciate your personal responsibility to protecting the areas you like to visit and fish.

Remember: fish need water that is plentiful and clean.

Here are a few web sites to visit, and info to study. Please share it with a friend.

This Site is called Protect Your Waters. It has a variety of info about carrying along critters from one type of water to another. In Colorado and the West, the issue at hand is the infestation of the New Zealand Mud Snail. Please check this site, take note of issues that effect you and your fishing and do as suggested.

Thanks!

Use Formula 409 Antibacterial or Disinfectant. There are numerous formulations of Formula 409 but only two have the disinfectant needed to kill the snails.
