Tying Adams teaches 8 different patterns. We begin by tying the standard, classic Adams with detailed explanations of materials, proportions and much more. Then, we tie the same pattern fast and in with full explanations - in about 4 minutes - to show how to tie quickly. Female, Thorax, Parachute, Wulff, two Trude and Irresistible Adams follow.

Tying ADAMS is complete and ready for purchase. The video is 1.5 hours long and is packed with great tying and fly fishing tips.

Any fly tier will benefit from this video. We begin by tying the classic, standard Adams with a mixed brown/grizzly tail, muskrat dubbed body, grizzly hen wings and mixed hackle. Each step discusses the material selection, proportions relative to the hook, thread position and tying techniques for application. Then, we tie the same fly fast - it takes me about 4 minutes and includes explanations of what I’m doing to make the fly quick while maintaining proportions and beauty of tying.

We also tie a Female Adams, Thorax Adams, Parachute Adams, Hairwing Adams, two different trude patterns and the Irresistible Adams! In each case we review while presenting new information that is sure to help you tie great looking, durable flies!
