I have news for
you. Not a single person who comes into the shop complains about fishing too
often.
Instead we hear
stories of woe.
"I'd like to get
out more, but don't know where to go."
"I just don't
have the time to go for two or three days."
You know, because
you're not fishing enough, either.
We're going to
suggest beginning with 2-Hour Fishing Outings.
Here's how!
Where can I
go? To local warm water impoundments, the St. Vrain, the Big
Thompson, Boulder Creek - depending on where you live or work. Come in and
let us know one or the other and we'll tell you specifically where to go -
in a good sort of way, you see. There are lots of local warm water fisheries
that are great fun. They hold bluegill, bass, crappie, perch, carp, wiper
and may other species that will take flies. Our local trout streams all have
close-in access and hold trout that will take flies. That's a good thing.
What do I
need? Two hours, a fly rod, reel and line, a few flies in a box,
floatant when fishing for trout, tippet of the appropriate size, polarized
sunglasses, nippers, hemostats and a mind that needs to clear on the water.
I'll be adding
more to this portion of the page over the next week or so; please stay tuned
for develpments!
